Sport Psychology Counselling

Train your mind like you train your body. Strengthen your mental game — in sport, performance, and life.

Is this for me?

You dedicate hours to training your body and refining your skills, but true performance also depends on an athlete's mental strength. Focus, confidence, emotional balance, and resilience are not innate traits; they are mental skills that every successful athlete and performer develops intentionally.

In sport psychology counseling I provide a structured and supportive space to strengthen these skills. Whether you are competing at an elite level, striving for personal bests, or seeking to feel more grounded in your discipline, our work together can help you perform with confidence, recover from setbacks, and maintain balance between achievement and well-being.

Sport psychology is not reserved for professionals at the top of their game. It is for anyone who takes performance seriously and wants to build mental strength and benefits athletes at all levels. No matter your level, what matters most is your openness to explore and your commitment to developing the mental side of performance.

Mental performance is not about striving for perfection. It’s about being present, resilient, and aligned with your performance goals and who you are as an athlete.

What can I expect?

Sport psychology sessions are a collaborative process. They are structured enough to target performance goals, yet always adapted to your sport, activity, and personal needs. You bring your commitment, experiences, and ambitions; I bring psychological expertise, a grounded presence, and practical strategies to strengthen your mental game.

In our work together, we will:

  • Sharpen focus and preparation routines

  • Build confidence and effective self-talk

  • Regulate nerves, stress, and pressure in performance settings

  • Use mental imagery and rehearsal to strengthen readiness

  • Navigate challenges such as setbacks, injury, or role transitions

  • Reconnect with motivation, balance, and joy in your discipline

Sport psychology is not only about improving results. Over time, it can also enhance resilience, support recovery, and help you sustain success in a way that feels balanced, meaningful, and true to yourself.

Who I work with.

I work with adolescent and adult athletes across different performance levels and disciplines. Some are pursuing competitive goals, others are recreational — all are welcome here.

In sport psychology, people often come to:

  • Build confidence and manage nerves

  • Recover after injury, setbacks, or burnout

  • Strengthen focus and concentration

  • Reconnect with motivation and joy in their discipline

  • Balance performance demands with overall well-being

Whether you are competing nationally or internationally or simply wanting to feel more focused, steady, and confident in yourself, this space is for you.

How I work.

I combine my clinical psychology training with sport psychology to offer a structured yet flexible approach. Each session is tailored to your sport, activity, and personal goals.

In our work together, I draw from:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, to sharpen focus, strengthen mindset, and build resilience

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to align performance with values and enhance emotional flexibility

  • Sport-specific mental training tools, including breathing, visualization, attention control, goal setting, and recovery strategies

  • Self-reflection and identity work, particularly relevant during times of injury, transition, or retirement.

Whether you are looking for short-term coaching or deeper psychological support, the process will be adapted to meet your needs and goals.
